I continued to grow up as a non-believer suppressing my thoughts of God and the faith that had been put in me as a child. This began to change after I met my future husband.
His farther is very Christian and every time I would visit he would speak to me about the Bible. But as time passed he also began to speak of his own experiences of the power of prayer and God's love and guidance. How he prayed to God when he was having a heart attack and was saved and not had one since. How he prayed for guidance when his children's mother left and he physically saw one door behind him close and another open in front of him. How at every turn and problem in life God had been there for him and guided him through it
At first I listened out of politeness but as our 4 year engagement passed I began to cherish these talks and learnt from them
